Quarantine - DIY Bath Soak

If you are like many, a few minutes away in the bathroom to relax is so important.  Bath soaks can be both relaxing and stimulating while releasing negative energy.  With social distancing at its core, that means less "me time" especially if you have children.

We've decided to share one of our favorite DIY bath soaks that is true and tried, especially for a mother of 3!

Ingredients:

  • 1 part dried peppermint leaves
  • 1 part dried lemon balm leaves
  • 1 part dried chamomile flowers
  • 1 part dried rose petals
  • 1/4 cup of dead sea salt or epson salt
  • 2-5 drops of essential oil (optional) - we enjoy eucalyptus and lavender

To prepare the bath:

Mix together all the herbs, salt and essential oil into a cheesecloth.  If you do not have a cheesecloth use an old nylon stocking. Attach cheesecloth or stocking to the faucet of the tub (make sure that its close to the spout) so that when the water turns on the mixture gets wet.  Let hot water run through the herbs for a few minutes.

Remove the herbs and fill the bath (optional) adjusting your water temperature to your preference.

To use:

Soak in your bath for at least 15-30 minutes. Follow up with your favorite 365 Body Love butter or body oil.

Discard your soak satchel in the trash.
